Sharon leads women's ministries at church, sings, sews, and watches the grandkids part-time.
I do speaking and training on college campuses and serve as the InterVarsity Staff at Macalester College, St. Paul.
In our spare time Sharon and I love movies, restaurants -- and at least one of us is a pretty hard-core golfer :)

In this Christmas season we are thankful for our family, friends, church and the Lord Jesus. Twice per year we ask you to consider a gift (or extra gift) to InterVarsity for my work with students and faculty. I am visiting 25 campuses this year. December is always "catch up" time for us financially. Thanks for your help!

Hannah Rassmussen ('14) and younger brother Justin ('16) grew up as third culture kids in Tanzania and Kenya.
Hannah serves as the overall MCF Coordinator. Justin is our Small Group Coordinator. "Bright and engaging" must run in the family, judging by these two.
MCF has grown to 30 active students -- up from 6 just a few years ago.

I really enjoy working with the team of chaplains at Mac.
It sounds boring to report in a newsletter that MCF is organized, Christ-centered and missional. But those are the simple facts.
Next up: MCF's Winter Retreat at the end of January. 20-25 students will make the two-hour trek to the lovely Conlin cabin in Wisconsin for a weekend to reflect and bond.
I will be there, soaking it up -- dreading the day when these cool young friends graduate and leave the "nest."
